About the Artist

Pierce Everett has produced art all his life via a wide spectrum of mediums.  He furthered his earlier studies and fueled his interest and talent at the Atlanta College of Art, and then studied with internationally known artist and professor, Joe Perrin.  He constantly aspires to employ his creativity to communicate his thoughts and perceptions, and to share his experiences through painting.  Pierce has been referenced in several sailing publications  as an "Artist and Yachtsman".  He is truly a compendium of both.  Sailing has taken him to extraordinary places and has yielded him a lifetime of experiences to which he refers for many of his painting concepts.  While he traveled for years in Europe via his beautiful  sailboat, "Argentaire", he had the fortune to study and work with artists Anthony Cabanellas and Sebastian Ensenat of Mallorca Spain.  He gravitated to his favorite ports and harbors around the magical islands of Ibiza, Menorca and Mallorca.  Pierce also spent time in Tangier and traveled the Rif mountains of Morocco all the while furthering his painting experiences.  On his return to the US, after 15 years abroad, he was blessed with the great fortune of furthering his learning through association with one of his mentors, artist Nancy Witt.  Pierce served as the art director for the international environmental education program, Visions United.  His work has been admired around the world , and has been published in the Manhattan Art Review.  He is presently working and exploring the endless possibilities with his favorite medium, at his Buckhead Atlanta based studio.
